Flo

What is your name and where are you from?

My name is Tenison Peterson, but my friends call me Teni, and I’m from Unterseen the small town next to Interlaken

How did you become a guide at Interlaken Walking Tours?

My brother and many friends do it already, so I thought I would fit in there too 😉

What is so special about Interlaken?

Interlaken is not a city just a small town but if has lots of events and other things to do in the whole region.

What are your plans for this summer?

I will start a “pre-college” school for studying civil engineering

Apart from working for Interlaken Walking Tours, what is your favorite thing to do in
Switzerland?

I love to meet my friends and spend time outside, it’s so beautiful around here

Have you ever met someone famous in your life?

Hmmm no….Or…ou yes… ME 😛

What is the scariest situation you got yourself into?

When I was a kid I went to Grindelwald for sledding. There was a railway crossing in front of me but I didn’t see it so I almost got run over by a train. But look I’m still alive 😀

If you would take a girl on a date and want to show her your favorite spot, where would you go to?

Oh that’s a hard question. I would stroll along the Aare river and show her the beautiful spots

Describe your life using film titles?

From Paris with love. A bit action, a bit comedy, a bit love 😛

What is the funniest thing that happened to you recently?

I am a bit clumsy so it is pretty funny for the people around me and I laugh about myself a lot too. There’s this thing that I always ask people how their love life with their partner is going but then they just broke up recently.. Last week I had a moment like that again…

Is there still something you want to achieve?

I want to be a civil engineer

You’re on a death row, what would your last meal be?

OHHH, that would be my mom’s tamil food Kotturotti. It’s chopped flatbread with curry and some vegetables and meat… Mmmhhhhhh delicious!

Thanks for your time, what are you off to now?

I have to make some plans for a wedding as my friend is getting married in a few weeks. We have a tradition in Switzerland that the groom has to do a lot of weird and crazy stuff before getting married, so we have to plan what kind of things he has to do 😉
